Veterans for America First Endorses Former Green Beret John Frankman for U.S. Congress in Florida's 1st Congressional District
PENSACOLA, FL — Veterans for America First (VFAF), the national grassroots organization founded by veterans and recognized as one of the earliest organizations to endorse President Donald J. Trump in 2015, proudly announces its endorsement of John Frankman for the United States House of Representatives in Florida's 1st Congressional District.
A former U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret, Frankman has dedicated his life to defending America—first in uniform and now as a candidate committed to restoring constitutional government, strengthening national security, and fighting for America's veterans.
The endorsement follows an extensive interview between Frankman and Veterans for America First National President Captain Robert Cornicelli, where the two discussed veteran healthcare, military readiness, accountability in Washington, border security, and the future of the America First movement.
"We are honored to give John Frankman this endorsement. He has already proven his commitment to this nation through military service, and now he's stepping forward to continue serving—not for power, not for fame, but because America needs leaders who are mission-focused and willing to fight for the people."
— Captain Robert Cornicelli, National President, Veterans for America First

During the interview, Frankman shared the deeply personal experience that led him into public service after being forced out of the U.S. Army over the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Rather than walking away, he chose to become an advocate for service members, veterans, and constitutional liberties.
"I didn't plan on getting into politics. I got involved because I wanted accountability for the service members whose lives were turned upside down. I want to continue fighting for veterans and for President Trump's America First agenda."
— John Frankman
Frankman's campaign focuses on issues that directly impact the families of Northwest Florida, including:
• Supporting America's military and veterans through expanded healthcare access and a full-service VA hospital in Northwest Florida.
• Fighting for accountability and transparency in Washington.
• Protecting medical freedom and constitutional rights.
• Restoring fiscal responsibility and reducing the national debt.
• Securing America's border and enforcing immigration law.
• Expanding American energy independence.
• Protecting election integrity.
• Defending the Second Amendment.
• Standing for life and protecting women's sports.
As the district with one of the nation's largest veteran populations and home to five major military installations, Florida's First Congressional District deserves a representative who understands military service firsthand.
According to Frankman:
"Veterans deserve better. We need greater access to care, a VA hospital in Northwest Florida, and representatives who understand what veterans and military families are going through because they've lived it."
Statement from VFAF Florida Chapter VP Christi Reeves Tasker
"As the granddaughter of Hammond B. Davis, a United States Army Intelligence Officer and Army Attaché who served President John F. Kennedy during the Cuban Missile Crisis, I was raised with a profound appreciation for those who willingly place service before self.
That same spirit is evident in John Frankman. Throughout our conversations and Veterans for America First's endorsement process, he has consistently demonstrated the qualities of an effective leader—thoughtful, highly knowledgeable, exceptionally well-prepared, and deeply committed to the principles that have made America the greatest nation in the world.
Veterans for America First carefully evaluates every candidate based on integrity, leadership, constitutional principles, and an unwavering commitment to the America First movement. John Frankman exemplifies each of those qualities.
His willingness to continue serving after sacrificing his military career is a testament to his character, courage, and resilience. Those are exactly the qualities we need in Congress to defend our Constitution, strengthen our military, protect our veterans, and preserve the American values that generations have fought to secure.
It is my distinct honor, on behalf of Veterans for America First, to congratulate John Frankman on earning our endorsement. We look forward to supporting his campaign and watching him continue his lifetime of service to our nation."
